National Exhibit – Opening: June 17, 2015
There is so much to be said about the collaboration and amount of work that has been completed over the past four years of putting the USA National Exhibit together. Congratulations to the entire team, and what an incredible experience this has been for everyone envolved.
National Exhibit – SET UP, Days 3 and 4
The final days of set up for the National Exhibit mainly consisted of lighting, placing the artifacts, and placing the lettering decals to lable the designers work.
Placing all of the objects went smoothly. When we set up the exhibit in Indiana as a trial, a lot of the decisions about where objects and artifacts would go were made.

As well as sharing the story of our progress over the past year with all of you, I have also been an electrician on the National Exhibit. Aaron and I have worked as a team to wire, hang, focus and troubleshoot the lighting system.
Student Exhibit – SET UP, Days 3 and 4
For Sandy, Carrie and the student designers, the last two days were busy with last minute runs to the hardware store, and completing the final touches.
Joe had some paint notes to complete with the puddle, and then it was installed on the third day.
Student Exhibit – SET UP, Day 2
The student designers have been so wonderful to work with! We are looking forward to seeing their complete exhibit as well as spending some time getting to know them!

National Exhibit – SET UP, Day 2
Things the National Exhibit does not lack: flexible gooseneck steel cable and various gauge steel wire. That’s what today was about. It’s hard to think about the fact that this morning we were still completing the last of the bent conduit.
Student Exhibit – SET UP, Day 1
Sandy and Carrie made their way over to the Kafka House to find all of their lockers, crates and platforming in the room where the Student Exhibit will be presented. What had to get in place first was the floor. The floor consists of platforms that take up the footprint of the floor in the room, so things had to be rearranged in order to place the floor.
National Exhibit – SET UP, Day 1
New continent, new languages, and new venue. We are so happy to finally be in Prague. The team made it here without a hitch, and woke up this morning to begin setting up both The National and Student Exhibits.
USA National and Student Exhibit – TEAM EN ROUTE!
After a year of prep, coordination, and a successful build, we are thrilled to finally be en route to Prague! Today, June 11th, the build team makes their way to Prague. We are hoping to make it without any issues so we can begin our very busy week setting up the exhibits.
